Our Inspired Beginning
Our story began 5 years ago, rooted in a profound promise to God. The founder, Vivien Okafor, made a solemn vow: if her specific prayer was answered, she would dedicate her life to giving back. This vow became the bedrock of the Foundation. Coupled with her background as a nurse, Vivien brings both professional compassion and personal conviction to every act of service, ensuring aid is delivered with genuine care.
Our Commitment to Service
We serve as a dedicated platform for offering essential aid and outreach to those who need it most. Our core objectives include:
- Identifying the Need: Actively seeking out vulnerable individuals and families.
- Offering Aid: Providing necessary support to the needy in various forms.
- Supporting the Incapable: Serving as a rallying point for aiding incapacitated individuals and incapable widows.
Transparency and Structure
While our work began five years ago, Ogochukwu Helping Hands Foundation was officially incorporated on January 17, 2025, as a not-for-profit and non-political organization. This formal structure ensures we operate with transparency and accountability.
Our foundation is overseen by a dedicated team of Incorporated Trustees, all committed to upholding the integrity and mission of the organization:
